For Designers: If you are working on a new project or application and need to define treatment specifications, designers may find our advice useful. We can help you define details, based on the application, conditions of use, and wear and corrosion resistance requirements.

For Machining Shops: Conversely, when the machine drawing is already fully defined with all the necessary details, as is usually the case for machining shops, you can simply request a quote directly.

Information Required for the Request

For a comprehensive offer, we require the following information:

• Workpiece Drawing: Provide the technical drawing of the workpiece to be treated.
  • Material: Indicate the type of material.
    • Heat or thermochemical treatments: Indicate whether the material has undergone heat or thermochemical treatments.
  • Electroless nickel plating specifications: Specifications for the electroless nickel plating treatment.
    • Pre-nickel plating treatments: Specify mechanical pre-treatments such as shot peening, sandblasting, etc.
    • Surface Treatment: Details of the requested surface treatment, including the thickness.
    • Heat Treatment: Indicate any required heat treatments or a specific post-nickel plating hardness.
• Additional Specifications: Additional specifications or instructions.
  • Handling and Hooking: Any instructions or special requests on the type of treatment (static or barrel).
  • Specifications and CSRs: For IATF automotive articles, provide all the technical specifications referred to in the drawing and any CSRs.
  • Packaging: Any instructions or special requests for packaging.
• Batches
  • Delivery batch: Delivery batch for nickel plating
  • Anticipated annual batch: Anticipated annual workpiece volume
